Before I was a CPA, I taught elementary school. I loved the questions, the curiosity, the wonder. And, it turns out explaining fractions and explaining depreciation aren't that different. People just want someone patient who won't make them feel dumb for asking.

Today I help individuals and small business owners with tax preparation and planning. My firm is small on purpose. I don't want to be the biggest firm, or even the best firm. I want to be the best me, and that means knowing my clients and doing work I'm proud of.
